Is a definitive business directory which provides a FREE service to both the Owners or Occupiers of Residential and Commercial property - in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales - and the Professional Service Providers (Tradesmen/women etc) that are regulated within these areas.
The Story...So-Far
After almost four years of research, development & the occasional hiccup..!! - it's finally come together!
The "footings" of this project were laid in 2004, with the aim of providing the owner/occupier (developer, landlord, owner, or tenant) of residential or commercial UK property - with a comprehensive list of accredited professionals.
The idea was/is to keep it fairly simple?
With that as our guide - we've kept it as simple as can be.
We list over 70 different professional categories (trades) for you to select from, in any of 130 different locations - covering England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
By selecting the type of professional and the area in which your project is in, you can see within seconds - contact details for the Service Providers that match your search criteria.
By Registering 
as a Consumer (Owner/Occupier) - you can access the FULL details of any of the individual Service Providers within the Regulated Trades Directory - which also includes viewing any Feedback that has been submitted by previous clients.
Our list is by no means "endless" - but we have tried to accommodate the needs of all property related requirements. So, if you are planning to purchase, manage, develop, design, build, modify, repair, sell or even let property - we're sure that you will find the ideal candidate to participate in your specific project.
One of the original ideas was to list "only" the professionals that are members of the Trade Associations. The idea was to promote the website by using this specific criteria. But, after thorough research and contact with some of the Trade Associations and Service Providers - we decided that the best course of action was to not limit the listings by this enforcement.
There are various reasons for this - which include:
1. Failure to reply to our requests for further specific Association information.
2. Refusing "point-blank" to "further this matter, as the institute already has a popular website."
3. Comments from various Service Providers with regard to some Trade Assocs "cheque-book memberships!"
Therefore, due to these revelations - we are more than happy to consider applications from any fully qualified personnel (subject to strict vetting procedures!) that are associated with property - irrelevant of Professional Institution or Trade Association Membership.
Another of our aims is to make it informative.
