The Regulated Trades Directory (regtd.com) wishes to provide this on-line directory service to you (the tradesperson or professional) and the developer, landlord, owner or tenant of residential and/or commercial properties within England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Our aim is to provide a searchable database - listing the contact details of each and every individual or corporation that has registered - along with a brief description of the services offered, and any feedback received (if applicable!)
Anyone, from a sole trader to a major corporation may register - the rules are the same for each and every application.
There will be NO favouritism - as all applicants are deemed equal.
There are NO catches either - NO percentages skimmed off any of the jobs or projects that you may secure.

Most owner/occupants who find themselves in this position, will endeavour to find somebody who can do it for them - in either the local newspaper small ads or the well known telephone directories (the likes of Yell, Thompson local etc!)
What harm can this do?

None (hopefully!) But there is always the chance that the "advertiser" may not have the necessary skills and/or qualifications to carry out the necessary duties.
Did you know?
Anyone (myself included) can place an advert in any of these publications - and offer to provide a skilled service - without even having to provide proof of my skills or professional status. I don't have a clue about gas fittings, electrics, plumbing, building etc But I could still place an advert offering any of these as services.
If you pay them the money - they publish your advert. Simple as that..!!
